Welcome to The Nelson Medical Practice

We endeavour to keep the surgery premises safe, clean and tidy. Please let us know if anything is not working properly. We welcome any constructive ideas on improvements to our premises and services that we provide to you, the patient. Please write or talk to our practice manager.

Aims of the practice

  1. To provide the highest quality of healthcare including health promotion and disease prevention, treatment of illness and management of long term diseas for all our patients through the different stages of their life.
  2. To encourage patients to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing.

  4. To provide this service with kindness, sensitivity, friendliness and empathy.

Parking

There is a large parking area with parking spaces for patients, including areas for the disabled. Staff car parking is barrier controlled.

Access For The Disableddisabled_sign

As a purpose built surgery, we are fully equipped with facilities for the disabled which includes a ramp into the surgery, large access into consultation and treatment rooms and toilet facilities. We also have an area within our reception counter which is specifically designed for disabled patient access.

Improved Access to Appointments

        Your local GP practices are working together to offer patients better access to appointments in (Lowestoft/Gorleston/Great Yarmouth/South Waveney) that means you will be able to see a GP or practice nurse (or other health professional) at a time which is most convenient for you.

 

        You can now book appointments to see a GP or practice nurse or other health professional in the evenings from 1830 - 2000 or at weekends from 0800 - 1200.

 

         There are now a range of ways you can get advice from a GP or practice nurse. Speak to the practice receptionist or a member of the practice team to find out more.
